We at Octopus Pool Service are big believers in educating our customers. We offer one-on-one instruction for new pool owners who want to understand how to care for their pool. Even if you are a more seasoned pool owner looking to just brush up on certain aspects of pool care, we will tailor our instruction to any level of pool knowledge, focusing only on the specific facets of pool care you are looking for.
While watching online videos can be helpful, they cannot provide information about your unique pool and pool system, nor can online videos compare with the interactive approach of a Pool School session with us. Why not make your own video instead? Our Pool School is an engaging, educational experience taught at your poolside by a Senior Technician to ensure that you get individual attention and easy to understand expert instruction and advice. How Pool School can help you - AND help us!
We believe it is important for pool owners to learn the basics of pool care. We realize that it may seem unusual that a pool service company would want to empower you with information to take care of your own pool, however we see it as a win-win situation. The more informed you are as a pool owner about basic pool care, the more available we are for the more urgent or technical pool service calls like dead pumps or heater repairs. Instead of receiving calls about poor flow or algae blooms, which can often be resolved with the knowledge you gain in our Pool School, the more available we become to schedule that awesome new salt system you approved a quote for. Even if you are a regular maintenance customer who does not want to be hands on with maintaining the pool, at the very least our Pool School can teach you quick and easy tasks to do in between our maintenance visits to help keep your pool looking great all summer.
